QR would like to advise passengers of the following planned alterations to services on the QR Network. Please note these arrangements may be cancelled at short notice due to uncontrollable circumstances.
Major Track Work from Sherwood to Ipswich: Saturday 19 Jul
- Sunday 20 Jul
 From first train Saturday 19 July to last train Sunday 20 July 2008, all Brisbane's suburban network inbound and outbound services between Sherwood and Ipswich will be replaced by bus services. Buses will stop at all stations from Sherwood to Ipswich with a connecting train service to Brisbane City. This track work is part of the Corinda to Darra project. This project will improve public transport for existing and future residents in Brisbane's western suburbs. Delays of up to 30 minutes may be experienced. Major Track Work from Coomera to Robina: Friday 25 Jul
- Sunday 27 Jul
From 8.00pm Friday 25 July to last train Sunday 27 July 2008, all QR interurban inbound and outbound services between Coomera and Robina will be replaced by bus services. Buses will stop at all stations between Coomera and Robina with a connecting train service to Brisbane City. This track work is part of the Helensvale to Robina Track Duplication project, to provide more train services from Beenleigh and the Gold Coast. Gold Coast passengers for Brisbane Airport please note a bus will travel directly from Coomera to Brisbane Airport. Delays of up to 30 minutes may be experienced.
